Rent Increase Requests Moving to the Landlord Portal
Effective January 1st, 2027
Dear Property Owner/Landlord,
The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) is committed to improving efficiency and streamlining communications with our property owners. Previously, rent increase requests may have been submitted through email, fax, mail, or other methods. Effective January 1, 2027, all Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Rent Increase Requests must be submitted through the Landlord Portal Only. Submitting it through email, fax, mail, or other methods will no longer be accepted.
Benefits of the Landlord Portal
The Landlord Portal provides a secure and convenient way to:
• Submit rent increase requests electronically.
• Track the status of submitted requests.
• Access property and tenant information
• Receive updates and notifications from OHA.
• Reduce processing delays associated with paper submissions.
Landlord Portal Registration
If you are a current landlord who is already registered, please login. If have not yet registered or don’t know your registration code for the Landlord Portal, please contact HCV Property Owner Liaison Katelynn Cheung at katelynn.cheung@ohauthority.org or if you have questions, you can call 402-444-6900 Ext 2444. You are encouraged to login and register prior to the January 1st, 2027, effective date.
How to Register
Once you have received your code to register:
1. Visit: https://myportal.ohauthority.org/
2. Select Landlord Login
3. Select “Register”
4. Enter your registration code when prompted.
5. Complete the registration process and create your login credentials.

Important Reminder
To ensure timely processing, rent increase requests submitted outside of the Landlord Portal after January 1st, 2027, may not be accepted. Landlords are encouraged to register as soon as possible and familiarize themselves with the portal before submitting future requests.
